Finland has repeatedly been named the happiest country in the world. It’s a country where happy people live! You’d think it would be possible to be any happier? It turns out, it can!
Many Alko stores recently received permission to open on Sundays. (Only Alko stores are allowed to sell strong alcohol in Finland.)
A report from one of the Alko stores this Sunday: As soon as the doors opened at 12 noon, a huge crowd of happy shoppers poured in. The first item purchased was a bottle of Koskenkorva vodka.
“We’ve been waiting for this for 35 years,” says the gentleman who bought the bottle. This is definitely something to celebrate.
How can you be so happy, Finland!
We’re joking, of course. If you love to travel, we definitely recommend visiting Finland. Finland is worth a trip not only in winter! The Finnish Lake District is a wonderful place for a summer vacation. Here you can escape the heat on the shores of a cool lake.
